Shunt and series
Winding motor, Compound Winding generator. This is a motor-generator (DC-DC) set which is used dc power generation. Here dc motor is shunt and series type and dc generator is compound type. It is just a model type dc generator-motor for laboratory use. turbine, diesel engine, petrol engine, etc are used as the prime mover in the practical field but in this case, the dc shunt/series motor is used as the prime mover. It is known to all that without a prime mover a generator can not generator electrical power. The following experiments are performed with these machines set.

★Voltage regulation test of DC compound generator.
